It would seem that fate made martial arts and Alvin Aguilar for each other.
Alvin first opened his eyes to the Martial arts at the young age of nine, dabbing first with Karate, Arnis and Greco-Roman wrestling, his pursuit of martial arts excellance ins up to now, guided by 3 main principles: Authenticy, Credibility, and most of all: Combat Effectivity.

His 16 years of martial arts training have brought him through the plethora of arts available in the local and international scene. Learning and completing instructorship of his arts from the likes of Sari-an originator Robert Cousart, Pekiti-Tirsai Grand Master Zleo Gaje, and 3-time Ultimate Fighting Champion Royce Gracie, has brought him at and above par with other Martial arts instructors in the country.

Starting his Gracie Jiu-jitsu training at the Gracie Academy in Los Angeles CA in 1993, Alvin is now a 4th Degree Blue Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and is now the only one of three exsiting and cetified International training representatives to the Gracie Association. (The other 2 come from Nassau, Bahamas and Canada.) |
Being the only rank holder in his class in the country, and also one of only two blue-belts recognized by the Academy; (Francisco Garcia, his training partner is a blue-belt) Alvin now dedicates himself to the development of Gracie Jiu-jitsu here in the country by providing quality accordance with the international standards set by the Academy.

Alvin leaves for Torrace, California this year, on August 5, and 6 to lead "TEAM RAW FURY", the Philippine Gracie Jiu-jitsu Team, and Official representatives to the 4th Annual Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Association Championships. Representatives and Training Association Members from the United States and its international Affiliates will also be competing.
